Live Reporting

    Fulham v Sunderland (1500 GMT)
Clint Dempsey makes his first Premier League start for Fulham since January 2012 after rejoining the club on a two-month loan deal from Major League Soccer side Seattle Sounders. 2. 1416:
    Hull 0-1 Chelsea
David Luiz puts a stop to a Hull counter with a cynical tug-trip combo on Robert Koren. No card from Mark Clattenburg, much to the home fans chagrin.

Everton midfielder Ross Barkley misses out with a toe injury as manager Roberto Martinez makes six changes from the side who beat QPR in the FA Cup. Leighton Baines has shrugged off a back injury and starts.
  7. 1414:
    CHAMPIONSHIP UPDATE
It's all over at Hillsborough and it was a day to forget for Leeds as they were beaten 6-0 by Sheffield Wednesday. The final goal in injury time by Caolan Lavery summed up the afternoon for Brian McDermott's side who have now lost their last four matches in all competitions.
  8. 1413:
    Hull 0-1 Chelsea
George Boyd is starting to bomb on from midfield in support of Yannick Sagbo, but Hull are still struggling to get anything coherent going in the last third. Petr Cech clutches on to claim another hopeful cross punted into the Chelsea box.
  9. 1413:
    LINE-UPS- Southampton v West Brom (1500 GMT)

Southampton v West Brom (1500 GMT)
Goalkeeper Artur Boruc returns for Southampton after six weeks out with a fractured hand. He's one of five changes from the FA Cup win over Burnley. Adam Lallana is back to captain the side, with Jay Rodriguez preferred to James Ward-Prowse as Rickie Lambert's strike partner and Jose Fonte and Dejan Lovren recalled to defence.
West Brom, who will be watched from the stands by new manager Pepe Mel with caretaker boss Keith Downing still in charge today, make seven changes from their FA Cup defeat against Crystal Palace. Stephen Reid, Jonas Olsson, Liam Ridgewell, Morgan Amalfitano, Youssouf Mulumbu, Chris Brunt and Nicolas Anelka all return.
  11. 1411:
    LINE-UPS- Cardiff v West Ham (1500 GMT)
    West Ham boss Sam Allardyce

  12. 1411:
    YELLOW CARD- Hull 0-1 Chelsea
Into the book goes Jake Livermore for an untidy tangle of legs with Fernando Torres. Robert Koren is on for David Meyler for Hull.

Eden Hazard celebrates scoring for Chelsea
Andrew: This game has a classic Mourinho's Chelsea scoreline written all over it. It's guaranteed to finish 1-0 to the Blues. It might not be overly entertaining, but it is hugely effective.
  14. 1410:
    YELLOW CARD- Hull 0-1 Chelsea
Mark Clattenburg has been sparing with the cards, but pulls out a yellow for Gary Cahill as the Chelsea defender leans a forearm out to block a bouncing ball just outside the left edge of his box. Tom Huddlestone sends a shot streaking across the face of Petr Cech's goal from the set-piece. Just a shade over 20 minutes to go.
  15. 1409:
BREAKING TEAM NEWS- Cardiff v West Ham (1500 GMT)
Andy Carroll is named on the bench for West Ham this afternoon, who welcome James Tomkins back into their starting line-up. For Cardiff, new signing Magnus Wolff Eikrem is named on the bench alongside Craig Bellamy, fit again after a two-month injury lay-off.
  16. 1407:
    Hull 0-1 Chelsea
Better from the hosts. Hull build patiently from midfield, but there is no way through the tightly-packed ranks of Chelsea midfield and defence.
  17. 1405:
BBC Radio 5 live commentator Conor McNamara at Goodison ParkEverton v Norwich (1500 GMT)
    Goodison Park
    "Sparkling day at Goodison Park."
  18. 1405:
    Hull 0-1 Chelsea
Hull have hardly had a touch since the opening goal. Chelsea currently suffocating them out of the contest with their sheer weight of possession.
  19. 1404:
BREAKING TEAM NEWS- Tottenham v Crystal Palace (1500 GMT)
Crystal Palace go with two up top against Spurs - Marouane Chamakh and Cameron Jerome both start. For Spurs, it's Emmanuel Adebayor and Roberto Soldado up front.
Tottenham XI: Lloris, Walker, Chiriches, Dawson, Rose, Lennon, Dembele, Eriksen, Bentaleb, Adebayor, Soldado.
Palace XI: Speroni, Mariappa, Gabbidon, Delaney, Parr, Bolasie, Ward, Jedinak, Puncheon, Jerome, Chamakh.
  20. 1404:
    Hull 0-1 Chelsea
A Chelsea free-kick out wide, a good position to cross from, but Willian only has eyes for the top corner, walloping a curling effort just wide.
  21. 1403:
    CHAMPIONSHIP UPDATE
Caolan Lavery has an instant impact for Sheffield Wednesday after he was recalled from a loan-spell at Plymouth. The young striker, on as a second-half substitute, has made it 5-0 against Leeds United. Lavery showed some neat footwork to leave the defence standing and rolled home past a beleaguered Paddy Kenny in the Leeds goal.
  22. 1403:
West Ham assistant manager Neil McDonald on BBC Radio 5 liveCardiff v West Ham (1500 GMT)
"We have taken a bit of a beating with the results. We are looking forward to the Cardiff game now, and the players will give it their best shot to try and get the three points.
"You have to give the players confidence, and pick out some of the positives.
"James Tomkins and Andy Carroll are big players. We have missed them, and hopefully it will frighten the opposition a bit to have them back."
  23.

Stacy Phillips: Hazard has looked the most likely to score all game. Chelsea are all about the individual brilliance, not the team effort.
  24. 1402:
Former Hull winger Kevin Kilbane at KC StadiumHull 0-1 Chelsea
"We have seen Eden Hazard do that so often this season. He is so difficult to stop when he comes inside on his right foot.
"They finally added some pace with that attack. Previously, they had looked quite lethargic.
"He is a wonderful player. This season he has proved it throughout - since the middle of October he has been outstanding."
  25. 1401:
    Hull 0-1 Chelsea
What have Hull got now then? Yannick Sagbo has been toiling alone up front. He is going to need some help from midfield if the Tigers want a way back into this.
  26. 1358:
GOAL- Hull 0-1 Chelsea - Eden Hazard (56 mins)
There was something very inevitable about that. Eden Hazard skirts across the edge of the penalty box, puts Alex Bruce on the seat of his shorts with a dummied shot and blasts hard and low into Alan MacGregor's bottom left corner.
If the rest of the match is to follow the script, Chelsea will close this one out and convert the one goal to three points.
  27. 1356:
    Hull 0-0 Chelsea
...Allan McGregor just about gets the ball away, palming David Luiz's dipping effort away and just out of the range of Gary Cahill who is following in to pick up any rebounds.
  28. 1354:
    Hull 0-0 Chelsea
This is a promising spot for a free-kick. A foul on Eden Hazard 25 yards out and David Luiz seems to have first dibs...
  29. 1353:
    CHAMPIONSHIP UPDATE
Chris Maguire makes it 4-0 for Sheffield Wednesday as his free-kick takes a wicked deflection off the wall to leave Leeds keeper Paddy Kenny completely wrong-footed. He can only watch on as the ball nestles in the bottom left-hand corner.
  30. 1353:
    Hull 0-0 Chelsea
Eden Hazard comes slaloming in off the left flank, but cannot find a clear corridor to shoot at goal. On the sidelines, Jose Mourinho orders his subs out to do some shuttle runs. There may be some changes afoot soon.
  31. 1351:
    Hull 0-0 Chelsea
    Juan Mata
The television cameras pan to a stony-faced Juan Mata on the bench for the first time in the wake of David Luiz's miss. After his seat slapping reaction to being subbed against Southampton, he is playing his cards close to his chest this afternoon.
  32. 1350:
    Hull 0-0 Chelsea
I think Hull city centre was in more danger than the back of the net from that David Luiz shot. The Chelsea anchorman shanks a horrible effort which is off target from the moment it leaves his foot and curls still further towards the corner flag.
  33. 1347:
    KICK-OFF- Hull 0-0 Chelsea
All systems go. No changes for either side.
  34.
Former Hull winger Kevin Kilbane at KC StadiumHull 0-0 Chelsea
"Everything is very narrow for Hull, and playing three centre-backs behind them is to their advantage. It means there are plenty of people around to pick up Chelsea's runners from deep."
  35.

  36. 1346:
    Hull 0-0 Chelsea
Another stat for you to mull over as Hull come trotting back out onto the field - only one out of 18 crosses were completed in the first half. Probably reflects the lack of presence up front for both sides.
  37. 1344:
MOTD's John Roder at White Hart LaneTottenham v Crystal Palace (1500 GMT)
"Crystal Palace have scored just 13 Premier League goals in total this season, but six of those have come in their last seven matches and significantly they have tightened up at the back since the arrival of Tony Pulis.
"So will Crystal Palace come to White Hart Lane and, in the words of Jose Mourinho, "park the bus" in front of goal?"
  38. 1344:
MOTD's Simon Brotherton at St Mary'sSouthampton v West Brom (1500 GMT)
"Southampton are on a poor run of results with just one win in the last nine and have suffered from both a tough schedule overall in recent weeks and some defensive errors, certainly in the match I saw at home to Spurs.
"They were as high as third at the start of November but have dropped to ninth. A top-four finish was always unrealistic but they're better than the recent run suggests and their four goals against Burnley in the FA Cup should have helped bolster confidence ahead of this one."
  39. 1343:
MOTD's Martin Fisher at Craven CottageFulham v Sunderland (1500 GMT)
"Looking at Rene Meulensteen's Fulham squad I firmly believe there's enough quality in it to avoid the drop - just! Recent results support that judgement as either side of the horror show at Hull, they beat Norwich and West Ham.
"Now they face another fellow struggler, knowing victory would put further distance between themselves and the bottom three."
  40. 1343:
MOTD's Steve Bower at Goodison ParkEverton v Norwich (1500 GMT)
"Everton continue the new year very much looking upwards, whereas the reality for Norwich is that they'll be glancing over their shoulder between now and May.
"Their task in this match is a huge one - win a league game at Goodison Park.Sunderland managed it against all odds on Boxing Day, the only time Everton were beaten at home in 2013."
  41. 1343:
MOTD's Alistair Mann at Cardiff City StadiumCardiff v West Ham (1500 GMT)
"There's probably no greater contrast than between the two opposing managers who will come face to face at the Cardiff City Stadium this weekend.
"In the home dug out, a relative novice in Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, presiding over his first ever Premier League game, having begun his new job with a stunning FA Cup win at Newcastle.
"The ovation likely to be afforded to the former Manchester United striker as he makes his home bow will only serve to highlight the uneasiness which will greet Sam Allardyce.
"That said, their teams are similar, not least in terms of their stuttering form: The Bluebirds have one win in seven, the Hammers are without a league win since November."
  42. 1343:
Time to have a whip round the ground and see what the Match of the Day commentators make of their 1500 GMT assignments.
Might there be a sighting of the lesser-spotted Andy Carroll? Alistair Mann will be on the look out...
  43. 1339:
BBC Radio 5 liveJELAVIC TO THE KC?
Before kick-off, Hull manager Steve Bruce has told 5 live Sport that, although they have agreed a fee, they still have to convince Everton striker Nikica Jelavic to sign, but he is hopeful of completing the deal by early next week. Bruce says Jelavic is "desperate to play football" in order to get to the World Cup. Bruce has been a "big admirer" since the Croatian's time at Rangers.

  45. 1337:
    CHAMPIONSHIP UPDATE
Things have gone from bad to worse for Leeds at Hillsborough, down to 10 men just two minutes after the restart and now trailing 3-0. Matt Smith, on as a substitute at the interval, is sent off for a late aerial challenge on Sheffield Wednesday's Reda Johnson, giving referee Lee Probert no real choice. Just moments later Connor Wickham made it 3-0 with his ninth goal of the season, slotting home past Paddy Kenny, who should have done better at his near post.
  46. 1337:
    Hull 0-0 Chelsea
    Touch graphic
No doubt who has been the most likely source of a Chelsea breakthough. Eden Hazard, number 17 in the average touch graphic above, has been buzzing around like a mosquito in the final third. A few Hull defenders have attempted to swat him flat as well.
  47. 1334:
TALE OF THE TAPE- Hull 0-0 Chelsea
    STATS
Hull have only had a third of possession, but almost doubled Chelsea's shot count. Steve Bruce will be a happy man.
  48. 1332:
MOTD's Guy Mowbray at the KC StadiumHALF-TIME- Hull 0-0 Chelsea
    Willian
"Best chance of the half fell to Oscar. He had the time to set himself, centre of the goal and that's where he found Allan McGregor, who made the save of the half. Goalkeepers on top and defences on top."
  49. 1330:
    Hull 0-0 Chelsea
David Luiz thumps a dipping shot goalwards from the set-piece after a foul is awarded goes Chelsea's way. Allan McGregor saves well and there is a minute of added time.
  50.
Former Hull winger Kevin Kilbane at KC StadiumHull 0-0 Chelsea
"As a centre-back, David Luiz loses runners and can look ungainly sometimes. He is very good technically, and this midfield role can suit him.
"I am still not sure of him as a player, though. Sometimes he impresses me, but other times he makes too many mistakes."
  51. 1330:
    Hull 0-0 Chelsea
Argy-bargey alert. David Meyler goes shoulder to shoulder with Eden Hazard in the box, sending the Chelsea man sprawling. David Luiz takes on the role of bodyguard and comes charging onto the scene with a physical challenge which Jake Livermore doesn't shirk in the slightest. Raised voices, raised arms follow but the cards stay in Mark Clattenburg's pocket.
  52. 1327:
Ian Dennis, BBC Radio 5 live senior football reporterCardiff v West Ham (1500 GMT)
    Sam Allardyce
"It is 99% certain that West Ham manager Sam Allardyce will still be in charge on Monday, regardless of the result today. He has been given both public and private assurances and nothing has changed since the League Cup defeat to Manchester City. There is also no truth in reports that Nottingham Forest's Billy Davies could be the next manager. The owners are sympathetic to Allardyce's situation, in particular the number of senior players that have been injured."
  53. 1327:
It sounds like obituaries on Sam Allardyce's time in charge of West Ham can wait at least a few more days. Even if they lose today against Cardiff.
  54. 1324:
    MATCH OFF
Sylvester Stallone thought it would be Hull's match against Chelsea which would be called off because of rain. Rambo was only 200 miles out because it's at The Valley where the weather has won. Charlton's Championship clash against Barnsley has been postponed on safety grounds.
  55. 1324:
    Hull 0-0 Chelsea
Alex Bruce is not rely on family favours to get in this Hull team. He puts in an excellently timed sliding challenge to stop Eden Hazard in his tracks down the left.
Oscar's chance apart, Hull have contained Chelsea with some ease so far.
  56. 1321:
    GREAT SAVE!- Hull 0-0 Chelsea
I say Great Save!, you may well say What a Miss! Oscar has time to control Eden Hazard's pull-back on the penalty spot and should pick a corner. Instead he fires straight at the gloves of a spread-eagled Allan McGregor. Superb save, but he should not have had a chance.
  57. 1319:
    Hull 0-0 Chelsea
Heavy challenge on Cesar Azpilicueta by Geroge Boyd and the Hull midfielder is fortunate to escape yellow. Nothing comes of the free-kick. Chelsea still scratching around for a chance.
  58. 1317:
    SHOWBOAT- Hull 0-0 Chelsea
    Steve Bruce
Reverse megs! Eden Hazard's flicks a backheel through the legs of Maynor Figueroa, but it deflects off a leg and fails to find its intended target - the charging Ramires.
  59.
Former Hull winger Kevin Kilbane at KC StadiumHull 0-0 Chelsea
"John Terry was looking to be a bit clever at the back, but he was closed down very well.
"Yannick Sagbo had to hit the target. If they are to take anything from this game, they have to convert chances gifted to them like that."
  60. 1313:
    CLOSE!- Hull 0-0 Chelsea
Yannick Sagbo has a huge chance to pose some big questions of Chelsea. The Hull striker crashes a first-time shot narrowly wide after Jake Livermore steals the ball off the toe of John Terry down by the Chelsea corner flag.
That is the sort of thing they want Nikica Jelavic around for.
  61. 1309:
    Hull 0-0 Chelsea
Jake Livermore gets the ball wobbling like a toe-poked petrol station special on a windy day at the beach. Petr Cech gets two solid hands behind it and from the resulting corner Alex Bruce heads over the top after getting free of Ramires.
Hull have had less of the ball but have created the best moments.
  62. 1307:
    Hull 0-0 Chelsea
    Jose Mourinho
Jose Mourinho gets out his best Jonjo Shelvey impression to add to the entertainment in a shot-shy first 20 minutes.
  63. 1306:
    CHAMPIONSHIP UPDATE
Sheffield Wednesday lead Leeds 2-0 at the break at Hillsborough afterAtdhe Nuhiu doubles their lead when he side-foots home at the far post. It is nothing less than the home side deserve after dominating both the possession and chances in the opening 45 minutes.
  64. 1305:
    Hull 0-0 Chelsea
Ahmed Elmohamady has been good so far for Hull, but the Egyptian wastes a promising attack as he gets his coordinates all wrong and sprints the ball straight out of play.
  65. 1304:
    Hull 0-0 Chelsea
    George Boyd & Cesar Azpilicueta
Chelsea have been solid but unspectacular so far. That has been there modus operandi in the last few games though -tight in the first half before they grind through to victory after the break.
  66. 1301:
    Hull 0-0 Chelsea
Eden Hazard makes a meal of this. The Belgian runs into Tom Huddlestone who, even without the afro, is quite a unit. But whether the full hand-flapping, turf-slapping reaction is needed is another thing. After a brief trip to the touchline, he is reintroduced to the action and there are no lasting effects.

    Hull 0-0 Chelsea
Chelsea go direct with a long ball forward to Fernando Torres. Hull are waiting for an offside flag that never arrives and they are briefly a little short before Alex Bruce gets back to block the Spaniard's shot.
  69. 1256:
    Hull 0-0 Chelsea
David Luiz nicks the a ball away from George Boyd as the former Peterborough man spins past Cesar Azpilicueta. Good dutiful defensive work from the Brazil international.
Hull have been bright in the early exchanges though.
  70. 1254:
    Hull 0-0 Chelsea
    Ashley Cole & Ahmed Elmohamady
First shot in anger and it comes from Hull. Ahmed Elmohamady swings a speculative right peg at a bouncing ball 25 yards out. A bit of swerve though the air, but nothing to give Petr Cech too much to worry about and he gathers with ease.
  71.
Former Hull winger Kevin Kilbane at KC StadiumHull 0-0 Chelsea
"Chelsea's playmakers are always inter-changing. It is a real feature of their game to see Oscar, Eden Hazard and Willian shifting from both wings and the centre throughout the match."
  72. 1252:
    Hull 0-0 Chelsea
The Sideshow Bob mop of David Luiz is patrolling Chelsea's midfield with an air of authority. He has the job of bringing the ball out of defence for the Blues and an early raking ball over the top has a touch too much on it for Eden Hazard. Hazard gives him the thumbs up for the idea though.
  73. 1250:
    Hull 0-0 Chelsea
Curtis Davies finds himself one on one with Fernando Torres out wide. Not a place he would have wanted to be four seasons ago, but the Hull skipper ushers him to the byeline with ease. Chelsea fail to make anything from the corner.
  74. 1248:
    Hull 0-0 Chelsea

Ian in Milton Keynes: Apart from not having Ivanovic at right-back, for me, that is Chelsea's strongest starting 11. Luiz quick distribution from midfield will benefit the flair players, while Ramires will get box to box. If you swap Torres for an in-form striker, you have a potential title winning side who would challenge Man City all the way. I just hope Jose brings one in.

"Those of us who saw Hull at Chelsea on the opening weekend of the season can't be too surprised by their current position in the top half of the Premier League.
"Yes, they were beaten 2-0, but the second-half performance of Steve Bruce's side showed they had enough about them to compete at the top level - something they've more than adequately done since then."

The KC Stadium is bathed in watery mid-winter sunlight as a full house awaits the arrival of the players.
The sponsors logo covering the centre circle is for a domestic boiler company. At Stamford Bridge it is for a far Eastern smartphone manufacturer. Kind of sums up the two ends of the Premier League quite nicely that.

On Tottenham manager Tim Sherwood: "The way they play with so many attacking players, he likes the 4-4-2 and with so many attacking players, the likes of Eriksen coming in off the wing, you will get caught out.
"I am surprised Jermain Defoe is going to Major League Soccer - you would have thought a host of Premier League clubs would be in for him. I don't think he'll be in the World Cup squad now. You go there when you can no longer do it but he still can."

On Tottenham manager Tim Sherwood: "It is a massive job but to be fair to him he has had a good grounding. He's been at Tottenham a long time with the kids and he knows the club. I'm pleased for him. We always say there aren't enough English managers in the game, so we need him to do well so there are more.
"I think the World Cup has gone for Jermain Defoe. It surprises me that he's agreed to go to America. I think he's good enough to still be in the Premier League."
  88. 1233:
    Football Focus
Tottenham manager Tim Sherwood: "I'm getting used to the job now. It's a pleasure and privilege. I took over around Christmas and never had any time to breathe with so many games, but we've done reasonably well up to now.
"I'm convinced I can do this job. I'm not going to insult people's intelligence if it doesn't go well by saying I've improved certain players, I know if you don't get results, Tim Sherwood won't be here in 18 months."

"I think the reaction to Thomas Hitzlsperger's decision to come out has been in support of him and rightly so. If someone had come out in my day it would not have been a problem either."

Former Aston Villa midfielder Thomas Hitzlsperger tells Football Focus he has been surprised how much interest there has been in his decision to reveal he is gay.
"I've been overwhelmed by the response," he said. "It's all been very positive and it was quite intense too. I knew it could be big news, but after a couple of days I realised it was big news. I asked friends a couple of years ago about going public but they just told me to keep my head down and play football so I've waited until now to reveal it."

Over on Football Focus, former Aston Villa, Everton and West Ham midfielder Thomas Hitzlsperger has been speaking to Gary Lineker about his decision to announce that he is gay.
  95. 1224:
BBC Final Score reporter Richard Askam
"Nikica Jelavic's likely departure to Hull leaves Everton bit short up front. Hear Roberto Martinez likes Javier Hernandez. Summer more likely if happens."
  96. 1223:
Hull manager Steve Bruce on BT Sport: "We agreed fee a last night [for Nikica Jelavic]. The way the media is, it pounced on the news within hours. Let's see if we can meet the boy, finalise the terms and hope he's in the squad for next week.
"The one thing about him is that he wants to play in the World Cup [for Croatia]. I'm sure he's anxious to play in that. We are in conversations with West Brom [about Shane Long], but we don't know what's going to happen. A new manager has gone in there in the last 48 hours."
  97.
Former Hull winger Kevin Kilbane at KC StadiumHull v Chelsea (1245 GMT)
"Even when getting promoted last season, none of the Hull players got into double figures. They need to get more goals into their side to secure safety this season."

    JELAVIC KC-BOUND?- Hull v Chelsea (1245 GMT)
    Nikica Jelavic
Hull could do with a free-scoring creative attacker. They will have to make do with a striker with a nasty dose of scoring block instead though.
Nikica Jelavic scored nine goals in 13 league appearances following his arrival at Everton two years ago. It has all gone a bit quiet since though with just two goals in the whole of 2013.
The Tigers have agreed a fee for the Croatia international and now just have to nail down those pesky personal terms to secure the 28-year-old's signature.

    GET INVOLVED- #bbcfootball
Tunde Akere: This is a great opportunity for Chelsea to go top (temporarily) after a long while. Torres and Oscar to score. Go Chelsea.
Tom King: The Chelsea team has balance and is the best team we can put out in my opinion, which says a lot about Hull's form.
Kasun Munasinghe: David Luiz in Midfield? Oh yes.
  100. 1214:
MATA OUT IN THE COLD- Hull v Chelsea (1245 GMT)
    Juan Mata
I hope that Juan Mata got a good set of hat and gloves for Christmas. Either that or he could keep himself warm with a starting place at a shiny new club in January...
If Chelsea do need to sell before they can buy after a set of poor financial reports, might it be make sense for all parties to see a deal go through in this window? It would be one heck of a bullet to bite though to let the club's player of last season depart...

Tottenham boss Tim Sherwood is the other big interview with former Liverpool striker Robbie Fowler and man-of-many-clubs Robbie Savage joining ringmaster Dan Walker in the studio.
  104. 1157:
Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho on BT Sport: "I try to choose in relation to the opponent and feedback I get from previous matches and training sessions. I try to choose the best team - sometimes I'm correct and sometimes I'm not.
"Our defensive four is easy today without Ivanovic. In midfield, it was a decision between David [Luiz] and [John Obi] Mikel and I went for David. I kept Willian and Fernando [Torres], Eden [Hazard] and Oscar."

BREAKING TEAM NEWS- Hull v Chelsea (1245 GMT)
Hull boss Steve Bruce brings in George Boyd for Robert Koren in the only change to the starting line-up that lost to Liverpool last time out in the Premier League.
Hull starting XI: McGregor, Chester, Bruce, Davies, Elmohamady, Figueroa, Meyler, Huddlestone, Livermore, Boyd, Sagbo
There is no Juan Mata again for Chelsea as Fernando Torres starts ahead of Samuel Eto'o up front.
Chelsea starting XI: Cech; Azpilicueta, Cahill, Terry (c), Cole; Ramires, David Luiz; Willian, Oscar, Hazard; Torres
  106. 1152:
TOP OF THE TABLE- Hull v Chelsea (1245 GMT)
The Premier League leadership could change three times before close of business on Monday evening. First up with their shot at top slot are Chelsea.
The Blues have been rolling 2004-05 style in recent weeks, gathering up 13 points from their last possible 15 in low-scoring narrow wins with Willian and Oscar standing in for Arjen Robben and Damien Duff.
Another three points today, and Chelsea have won seven out of their last nine meetings with Hull, and Jose Mourinho's men will be top of the tree once more.

    CHAMPIONSHIP PREVIEW
With Leicester extending their lead at the top of the Championship to seven points with an impressive 4-1 win over Derby on Friday, the chasing pack need to ensure they do not slip up today.
Second-placed Burnley are away at 23rd place Yeovil and will expect nothing less than a win, while third placed QPR face a tough trip to Ipswich who are fighting for a play-off place. Rock-bottom Barnsley, who have not won in seven games, are at Charlton.
The day's fixtures kick off with a fierce Yorkshire derby between struggling Sheffield Wednesday and eighth-placed Leeds at 1215 GMT.

As always, BBC Radio 5 live is the best place to hear the latest Premier League action.
From 1245 GMT on Saturday, John Murray and ex-Republic of Ireland international Kevin Kilbane are at the KC Stadium to bring live commentary as Hull host high-flying Chelsea. As well as hearing updates from across the divisions from 1500 GMT, Ian Dennis and former Leicester striker Steve Claridge are the men behind the microphones as beleaguered West Hamboss Sam Allardyce takes his team to south Wales as Ole Gunnar Solskjaer hosts his first home match as Cardiff boss.
On Sunday at 1405 GMT, Hull goalkeeper Steve Harper brings updates alongside Alastair Yeomans as his former club Newcastle host Manchester City. At 1610 GMT, Alan Green and ex-England defender Jimmy Armfieldare the commentary team at Britannia Stadium as the focus switches toStoke's match with Liverpool.

  110. 1137:
Andre Villas Boas and Pep Guardiola
This weekend, the fixtures from the 17 and 18 August, like some of the fortunes of those mentioned, are reversed.
As Swansea arrive at Old Trafford, Manchester United could lose four successive games in the same season for the first time since Sir Bobby Charlton had hair.
Ahead of the trip to the Cardiff City Stadium, Sam Allardyce is rolling out the boxing metaphors, telling his team to take criticism on the chin, get mad and come out fighting.
And Andre Villas-Boas is soaking up the rays having a chinwag with Bayern boss Pep Guardiola in Qatar rather than swapping stories with Palace boss Tony Pulis in rainy south London.
  111. 1130:
David Moyes and Robin van Persie
The opening day of the season.
David Moyes watched his side open their title defence in style with a fit and firing Robin van Persie starring in a 4-1 win over Swansea.
West Ham manager Sam Allardyce was toasting "a great job done" in victory over Cardiff, praising Kevin Nolan for a skipper's performance.
Andre Villas-Boas, with Gareth Bale still on his staff and Tim Sherwood just another face on the bench, watched Roberto Soldado score in a win over Crystal Palace.
    Funny how things change.
